Seems like time is just flying by and the winter is upon us again. Remember when you were little, and the months used to drag?? I remember counting down the days until summer and I could see my camp friends again. I recently spent the day with a camp friend whom I have known for over 40 years! There’s just something so special about spending time with someone who really knows you and has an interesting perspective on you as a kid. Denise remembered all the nights I would stand up and entertain everyone in our bunk and she also reminded me about how annoying I could be when I wouldn’t shut up! There’s no friend like an old friend!

2020 is going to be a magical year. It’s a year of big changes and I’m ready to fly. As most of you know, Jack will be graduating high school, Ava will turn 16 and our business is growing in ways I never could have imagined. This is the year of being brave! I’m going to embrace all these changes with an open mind and heart. Instead of Jack having to pry me off his leg in his dorm room, I will exit gracefully (maybe. I’ll try). When I teach Ava to drive, I will remain calm and quiet and not grab the dashboard as if my life depends on it.

Our company will have some new and exciting changes for 2020 too. We have some big announcements soon as well as new products and new stores to find your fav products in. The Fairy Tales/TBH team is firing on all cylinders. We are a small but mighty group. One thing I have learned this year is that doer’s get things done. This team of doer’s is just about perfect. Everyone is so committed to our business and meets each days’ challenges with a smile! Our group is fierce; the girl power we have running this place could seriously rule the world. All we need is Starbucks and Honeys!

To the team, I want to say thank you. It’s been a long, strange year. I thank you all for standing beside me. Welcome 2020 – we’re gonna own you 😊
