What is Sun & Swim best for?

Does Sun & Swim actually help prevent or remove green hair?

Many families (especially blondes) use Sun & Swim specifically to help lift the green tint from chlorine and keep hair looking bright. Some reviewers see results in 1–2 washes, especially when followed by conditioner and the spray. Note: results can vary depending on pool chemistry, how long the hair has been green, and frequency of swimming.

Is this a clarifying shampoo? Will it feel “dry” while rinsing?

Do I need all 3 steps (shampoo + conditioner + spray)?

You'll get the best results as a system: Shampoo that helps remove chlorine/mineral buildup, Conditioner that replenishes moisture and smooths dry ends, and After-Sun Spray that adds slip for easy brushing and detangling (and many families spray before swimming, too.)
