Sweetheart Braids
1. Start by spritzing Fairy Tales Tangle Tamer Detangling Spray throughout the hair to soften, moisturize, and detangle.
2. Using a rattail comb, create a center part from the forehead to the crown. From the crown, carve out half a heart shape on one side, working your way down to the temple. Repeat on the other side to complete the heart outline.
3. Gather each half of the heart at the top and secure it with small hair elastics.
4. Create a tight twist or braid of your choice on both sides and secure the bottom of both braids with elastics.
5. Smooth out any flyaways with a lightweight hairspray or hair gel. Try Fairy Tales Rosemary Repel Hair Spray or Curly-Q Styling Spray Gel for a flawless finish.
2. Create a center part and lightly mist both front sections with
Curly-Q Styling Spray Gel to keep hair smooth and frizz-free.
3. On each side, create a Dutch braid, braiding away from the face to ensure the braids lay flat. (A Dutch braid is like a French braid, but instead of crossing the sections over, you cross them under for a raised effect.) Stop braiding around the ears or wherever you’d like the ponytail to fall.
4. Gather both braids and the rest of the hair into a ponytail and secure with an elastic. Choose your favorite Valentine's hair bow to cover the elastic with.
2. Using a rattail comb, create a center part from the forehead to the crown. Then, part the hair again from the center of the head in the opposite direction, creating four sections.
3. Gather the two front sections and secure each with a small hair elastic.
4. Braid each front section using your preferred braiding style and secure the ends with small elastics.
5. Gather the two back sections and tie them into high pigtails, incorporating the opposite side’s front braid into each one. (For example, include the left front braid in the right pigtail and vice versa.)
6. For an extra fun touch, braid the pigtails before wrapping them into buns. Secure with elastics or bobby pins.
Love Knot Pigtails
2. Create a center part all the way down the back and secure each side into low pigtails with hair elastics.
3. Slightly loosen the hair just above each elastic, then flip the ponytail under and through to create the lifted effect.
4. Split each ponytail in half and twist both sections outward. Shape the twists into a heart and secure the ends together with a small elastic.
5. Add a festive bow or ribbon at the base of the heart for a cute Valentine’s touch.

XOXO Braids
2. Create a center part and begin two French or Dutch braids from the front of the head. Once you reach the top of the back of the head, transition into a regular three-strand braid and secure with small elastics.
3. Gather the remaining hair on each side and twist it into two messy buns. Lay the braided section over the middle of each bun before securing everything in place.
4. Add a festive Valentine’s bow at the front of each bun for a cute, holiday touch.
